Throughout her studies Meika has used a range of previsualisation softwares to aid in the creation of her lighting designs. During the Queensland lockdown Meika used the beta version of ETC Augment3d visualiser to realise her lighting design for the virtual production of ‘The Bone People’.

 

In her exhibition Meika has replicated samples of the lighting designs she created whilst at QUT as well as examples of previous works to showcase her skills as a lighting designer.

 

Meika is projecting onto clear perspex to create a ‘Pepper’s Ghost’ illusion with some old-fashioned theatre magic, enabling the audience to be reflected inside her lighting design.
